Overview
Embark on a captivating journey from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, where you’ll explore the charming streets of Georgetown on a half-day tour upon arrival, discovering historical remnants and cultural landmarks. Highlights include Fort Cornwallis, Little India, and the vibrant Penang Street Art. Indulge in Penang’s famous White Coffee at Coffee Tree before settling into your hotel for the night. The next two days are filled with exploration, from the panoramic views atop Penang Hill to the tranquil ambiance of Kampung Agong and the sun-kissed shores of Batu Ferringhi Beach. Enjoy local cuisine at various restaurants and immerse yourself in the rich heritage of Penang. Conclude your journey with a leisurely morning before transferring back to Kuala Lumpur for departure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur to Penang
- Pick up at Kuala Lumpur
- Proceed to Penang (4 hours 30 minutes drive)
- Half-day tour to Georgetown upon arrival
- Scenic drive through UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Visit Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Streets of Racial Harmony, Penang Street Art, Chew Jetty
- Stop at Penang’s famous White Coffee/Tea @ Coffee Tree
- Check in hotel for overnight stay in Penang
Day 2: Penang Full Day (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel
- Pick up from hotel lobby for city tour
- Visit Penang Hill, ride funicular train to peak at 833m above sea level. Enjoy panoramic view of Georgetown and mainland Butterworth
- Visit Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple with 4th longest Reclining Buddha Statue
- Visit Dhammikarama Burmese Temple with Buddha statue standing at 8.2 meters
- Transfer back to hotel after tour
- Lunch and dinner at local restaurant (own expenses)
- Overnight at Penang hotel
Day 3: Penang Full Day (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel
- Pick up at hotel lobby for tour to Kampung Agong. Explore traditional architecture and jelapang padi
- Stroll around the area, possibly visit the pond with water lilies. Bicycle exploration of different corners in Kampung Agong
- Visit Batu Ferringhi beach. Enjoy sea breeze and stroll along the beach
- Optional water activities like jet-skiing and parasailing (own expenses)
- Free and easy time to enjoy the sunset
- Transfer back to hotel after tour
- Lunch and dinner at local restaurant (own expenses)
- Overnight at Penang hotel
Day 4: Departure (Breakfast)
- Breakfast at hotel
- Free and easy until check out
- Pick up at hotel lobby

- Rates quoted strictly for minimum number of persons as per request above, if less or any reduce no of person the rate will be different.
- This is only a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and deposit to secure the quotation rates.
- Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge / weekend / public holiday surcharge.
- Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
- Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
- Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.
- Cancellation procedure: Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
- Please note the following: If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.
- If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for lost reservations.
- If a person in a party cancels and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as Twin to Single), charges for the new room type will be the responsibility of the remaining party.
- Illness or Absence: Early return expenses are the guest’s responsibility. There is no refund for absence or early departure from a guided holiday.
