Once you arrive in Parapat, check in to your hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. You’ll have the evening free to explore the vibrant nightlife of Parapat.
The next day begins with a captivating tour of Samosir Island, where you’ll visit Tomok Village to see the ancient Batak Kings Tombs. If you’re part of a larger group, explore Ambarita Village, famous for its stone chairs and historical significance. After lunch in Parapat, continue your adventure towards the Berastagi Highlands, stopping at Simarjarunjung for local snacks like ginger tea and fried bananas. Visit the breathtaking Sipiso-Piso waterfall, which offers stunning views of Lake Toba from the north. Day 1: Arrival Medan – Parapat – Samosir (Lunch/Dinner)
- Greeted by our representative/tour guide upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport.
- Journey begins towards Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake globally.
- Lunch at a local restaurant during the journey.
- En route stop at Patent Shop for purchasing local delicacies like Ting-ting, Teng-teng, etc.
- Arrive in Parapat and cross to Samosir Island by ferry/boat, approximately 45 minutes.
- Check-in at the hotel upon arrival on Samosir Island.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Free program to explore and enjoy the nightlife on Samosir Island.
Day 2: Samosir Island tour – Parapat – Berastagi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and commence the Samosir Island Tour.
- Visit Tomok Village to witness the ancient Batak Kings Tomb, The kings of Sidabutar.
- Continue the tour to Ambarita village (Only for groups 11 persons above) to explore the Batak Village, famous stone chair, and the execution place of King Sialagan.
- Return to Parapat and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
- Proceed to Berastagi Highland with a stop at Simarjarunjung to savor special snacks like ginger tea, fried bananas, or cassava (personal expenses).
