Overview
Your 5D4N Discover Hanoi – Halong Overnight Cruise tour begins with a warm welcome at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport, followed by a transfer to your hotel for check-in. The first day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace. On the second day, you will embark on a full-day city tour of Hanoi, where you’ll visit iconic sites such as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and Tran Quoc Pagoda, along with a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and some free time for shopping in the Old Quarter.
On the third day, you’ll head to Halong Bay for an unforgettable overnight cruise. After boarding, enjoy lunch while cruising through the stunning bay. You’ll visit the Surprising Cave and Titop Island for scenic views and swimming. As the day winds down, enjoy a Sunset Party on the sundeck, followed by a cooking class and dinner onboard. Spend the night in your comfortable cabin, surrounded by the breathtaking seascape.
The fourth day starts with breakfast onboard, followed by a kayaking excursion near Luon Cave. After exploring, you’ll cruise past scenic spots like Ba Hang fishing village before disembarking. You’ll return to Hanoi in the afternoon with free time to explore the city. On the final day, after breakfast and some leisure time, you’ll check out and be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

Day 1: Arrival Hanoi
- Upon arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport, proceed to Arrival Hall A1 for pick up by Star Travel representative.
- Transfer to the hotel for check-in (Check-in time is 14:00; early check-in subject to hotel confirmation upon arrival).
- The driver will wait for a maximum of 1 hour after the arrival flight.
- The rest of the day is at your own leisure.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi Full Day City Tour (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Depart at 08:30 am to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, exploring the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting place.
- Explore Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts located nearby.
- Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049, an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.
- Continue the tour with visits to Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam.
- After lunch, proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum.
- Continue to the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070, offering a glimpse into Vietnam’s past with its gardens and well-preserved architecture.
- Take a leisurely stroll past Hoan Kiem Lake, admiring its peaceful waters, and visit Ngoc Son temple.
- Conclude the tour with a coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarter, offering free time for shopping.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi City.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise Overnight (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Check-out after breakfast and depart for Ha Long, arriving at Tuan Chau Marina.
- Welcome aboard the cruise and meet the captain and crew with a welcome drink.
- Check into your cabin and refresh.
- Enjoy a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay.
- Explore the Surprising Cave, one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.
- Visit Titop Island for swimming and climb to the top of the island for the best view of Ha Long Bay in the summer.
- Continue cruising to a quiet area while enjoying the beautiful seascape.
- Return to the boat and enjoy the Sunset Party on the sundeck, followed by a Cooking Class.
- Dinner is served onboard.
- Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or simply relax.
- Overnight on board in clean, air-conditioned rooms with private washrooms.
Day 4: Halong – Hanoi (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone (06:30 – 06:45)
- Enjoy kayaking to explore around the area of Luon Cave.
- Board the cruise again and take time to refresh and relax before checking out.
- Bags can be left in the luggage store.
- Continue your cruise, exploring the Bay and passing by Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
- Enjoy lunch onboard.
- Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina, between 11:00 and 11:30.
- Return to Hanoi and enjoy free leisure time.
- Overnight in Hanoi City.
Day 5: Hanoi – Kuala Lumpur (Breakfast)
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and have free leisure time.
- Check out from the hotel.
- Transfer to Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport for departure flight back home.
