Overview
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Colombo Airport, followed by a transfer to Negombo for a relaxing start to your stay. From there, head towards Kandy, stopping at the Millennium Elephant Foundation to interact with elephants and visit a herbal garden. Day 1: Colombo Airport โ Negombo (37.5kms โ 44mins)
- Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, meet our local representative.
- Proceed to the Negombo Hotel for an overnight stay.
- Check in hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Negeombo โ Pinnawela โ Kandy (77.8kms โ 2hrs) โ Kandy (40.9kms โ 1hr 2mins) (Breakfast/Dinner)
- After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Kandy, en route, visit the Millennium Elephant Park. Millennium Elephant Foundation (MEF)
- At MEF, you will get the opportunity to walk with an elephant, feed the elephant, bathe the elephant, and if you wish, have an elephant shower too.
- After the visit, proceed to Visit Mawanella herbal garden, you may enjoy a head and shoulder massage to rejuvenate yourself.
- Continue journey to Kandy. Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka and a World Heritage Site.
- In the evening visit the Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic and then enjoy a cultural dance performance.

Day 3: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Little England) (97.8kms โ 3hrs) (Breakfast/Dinner)
- After breakfast, board the train for a scenic 3.5-hour journey, renowned as one of the world’s best train rides.
- Marvel at the breathtaking landscapes, including mountains, waterfalls, tea gardens, tunnels, vegetable gardens, and thick forests.
- Upon arrival at Nuwara Eliya railway station, meet your guide and proceed to explore Little England.
- Visit the red-bricked post office to capture memories with postcards or souvenirs.
- Relax at Queen Victoria Park or Lake Gregory’s shores, soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
- Explore Ramayana-related sites in Nuwara Eliya, including the Sita Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden (Ashok Vatika), and Gayathri Amman Temple.
- Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Nuwara Eliya โ Bentota via Kitulgala (208kms โ 3hrs 16mins) (Breakfast/Dinner)
- After breakfast, depart for Bentota via Kitulgala, renowned for thrilling water sports such as white-water rafting and abseiling.
- Explore Kitulgala’s attractions, including the Broadlands Dam, Belilena Cave, and picturesque waterfalls like Aberdeen Falls and Nalagana Ella Falls.

- En route to Bentota, visit the Rumassala Temple.

Day 5: Bentota โ Mirissa (98.1kms โ 2hrs) โ Bentota (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Early morning, depart for a whale-watching expedition off the coast of south Sri Lanka to catch a glimpse of the majestic blue whale and sperm whale, the largest creatures on earth.
- Your knowledgeable guide will provide insights into marine life conservation efforts and help you observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Please note that swimming or snorkeling with the whales requires special permission, which may not always be guaranteed.
- Upon completion, return to the hotel, en route, visit the turtle conservation farm at the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery.
- Get up close with baby turtles and injured adult turtles cared for by the Turtle Hatchery.
- In the evening at 3:00 pm, enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Bentota River, exploring the mangrove forests and observing wildlife such as crocodiles, snakes, and various bird species.
