Overview
Your 7D6N Discover Hanoi – Halong – Sapa – Tam Coc / Ninh Binh adventure begins with a warm welcome at Noi Bai International Airport, followed by a transfer to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to explore Hanoi at your own pace or relax after your journey. On the second day, you will embark on an overnight cruise in Halong Bay, cruising past iconic limestone formations and visiting the Surprising Cave and Titop Island. Enjoy a Sunset Party and a Cooking Class on board before a restful night on the cruise.
The third day starts with a scenic cruise through Halong Bay, including a kayaking excursion near Luon Cave. After lunch on board, you will return to Hanoi for some leisure time before boarding the night train to Sapa. On the fourth day, explore the Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages, where you’ll witness the daily life of the H’mong people and visit a waterfall and an old hydro-electric power station. After a full day of cultural immersion, you’ll stay overnight in Sapa Town.
The fifth day involves a trek through the stunning landscapes of Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, passing rice terraced fields and meeting the Black H’mong and Dzay people. Afterward, you will return to Hanoi by limousine bus. On the sixth day, embark on a journey to Ninh Binh, where you’ll visit the ancient temples of King Dinh and King Le, followed by a serene boat ride through the “three caves” of Tam Coc, surrounded by beautiful paddy fields. The final day includes free time for last-minute shopping in Hanoi before your departure flight back home.

Day 1: Malaysia – Hanoi City Arrival
- Warm welcome by our driver upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN).
- Transfer to your hotel for check-in.
- Check-in time is 14:00, early check-in subject to hotel confirmation upon arrival.
- The driver will wait for a maximum of 01 hour after the arrival flight.
- Rest of the day is free at your own leisure or you may choose to select some optional tours.
- Overnight in Hanoi City.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise Overnight (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- At 7:30 am, after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and depart for Ha Long.
- Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, welcome aboard the cruise.
- Meet the captain and crew and enjoy a welcome drink as the crew provides information about life onboard.
- Check into your cabin and take some time to refresh and unwind.
- Savor a delectable lunch while cruising towards Ha Long Bay.
- Explore the Surprising Cave, one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay, adorned with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.
- Return to the cruise and visit Titop Island, where you can swim and climb to the top for the best view of Ha Long Bay in the summer.
- Continue cruising to a quiet area, enjoying the beautiful seascape along the way.
- Back on the boat, enjoy a Sunset Party on the sundeck followed by a Cooking Class.
- In the evening, dinner is served.
- Socialize with other guests, participate in board games, go squid fishing, or simply relax.
- Overnight on board in clean, air-conditioned rooms with private washrooms.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Night Train to Sapa (Breakfast/Lunch)
- 6:30 – 6:45: Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.
- Enjoy kayaking to explore around the area of Luon Cave.
- Board the cruise again and take some time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in the luggage store.
- Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
- Time for Lunch.
- Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina, between 11:00 and 11:30.
- Return to Hanoi and free at your own leisure until 21:00 to board the night train to Lao Cai.
- Overnight on Night train (04 persons/cabin).
Day 4: Lao Cai – Cat Cat Village – Shin Chai – Sapa Town (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Pick up at Lao Cai station and transfer to Sapa, which is only 38 km from Lao Cai.
- Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant.
- Begin a trek following the road down to the valley by steps for about 5 km.
- While walking, observe the H’mong villagers working on the paddy fields and their animals, such as chickens, water buffaloes, and pot-bellied pigs.
- Explore the old hydro-electric power station built during the French colonial period in the early 20th century.
- Visit a beautiful waterfall, which is a good place for resting.
- Continue walking to Sin Chai village, where you can see the lifestyle of the black H’mong people, including their weaving and dyeing cloth.
- Return to Sapa for overnight stay in Sapa Town.
Day 5: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Lao Cai – Hanoi (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
- Embark on a trek along buffalo paths and trails through several hill tribe villages, including Lao Chai and Ta Van.
- Encounter the Black H’mong and Dzay people in their homes and witness their daily lives.
- Experience stunning scenery along the trek, with the valley floor surrounded by multi-layered rice terraced fields.
- Transfer back to Hanoi by Limousine bus.
- Arrive at the hotel in Hanoi around 20:00 for overnight stay.
Day 6: Hanoi – Tam Coc (Ninh Binh ) – Hanoi (Breakfast/Lunch)
- Depart from Hanoi for Ninh Binh after breakfast, enjoying scenic views of rural areas along the way.
- Arrive at Hoa Lu around 10:00 and visit the two temples of King Dinh and King Le, dating back to the 10th century, and learn about their heroic histories in the Chinese Wars.
- Enjoy lunch before boarding a bamboo boat rowed by local people on the Hoang Long River to visit Tam Coc, also known as the “three caves.”
- Experience the tranquil beauty of the paddy fields along the way, especially if visiting Tam Coc in April or September.
- Return to the harbor for the bus transfer back to Hanoi.
- Enjoy free time for shopping at the Old Quarter and Dong Xuan market.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi City.
Day 7: Hanoi City – Malaysia (Breakfast)
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then have free time at leisure.
- Check out from the hotel.
- Our driver will transfer you to Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) for your departure flight back home.
- End of service. Home Sweet Home.
