Overview
Upon arrival in Auckland, you will be met and privately transferred to your accommodation. Auckland, a bustling city, offers various optional activities such as visiting the Sky Tower, the Weta Workshop Unleashed tour, or enjoying a dinner cruise on the Auckland Harbour.
The next day, embark on a coach tour to the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set, where you can immerse yourself in the world of Middle-earth. After exploring the Hobbiton village, you’ll enjoy a delightful lunch at The Green Dragon Inn before heading to Rotorua for an overnight stay. For those seeking relaxation, the Polynesian Spa Deluxe Lake Spa is available as an optional activity.
In Rotorua, you’ll explore Te Puia, where you’ll tour the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, visit the Kiwi Conservation Centre, and wander through the geothermal valley. Your evening will be highlighted by a traditional Hangi dinner overlooking the valley and a cultural performance. The night will conclude with hot chocolate and pudding on the geyser terrace, followed by your overnight stay in Rotorua.
You’ll then take a domestic flight to Queenstown (not included in the package) for an overnight stay. Optional activities in Queenstown include a gondola ride with luge or a visit to the Original Onsen for a private indoor pool experience.
The following day, embark on a tour to Milford Sound, passing by mirror lakes and waterfalls. Once there, you’ll board a vessel for a scenic cruise surrounded by towering mountains and sheer cliffs. A delicious lunch will be provided before returning to Queenstown for another night’s stay.
Your journey continues as you travel from Queenstown to Christchurch via the Kawarau Gorge and the Mackenzie district. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of turquoise lakes and Aoraki Mt Cook. You’ll stop at the Church of the Good Shepherd before reaching Christchurch for an overnight stay.
On the final day, you’ll be transferred to Christchurch Airport for your departure. If time permits, the Antarctic Centre is a recommended optional activity to conclude your New Zealand adventure.

Day 1: Arrive Auckland
- On arrival, met and privately transferred to your accommodation.
Day 2: Auckland – Hobbiton – Rotorua
- Morning, coach tour takes you to Hobbiton Movie Set (must see destinations)
- After exploring Hobbiton, lunch at The Green Dragon Inn before continuing to Rotorua.
- Overnight in Rotorua.
Day 3: Rotorua
- Afternoon, transfer to Te Puia for guided tour through the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, the Kiwi Conservation Centre and the geothermal valley.

Day 5: Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
- Today tour takes you past mirror lakes and waterfalls into Milford Sound.
- On arrival, board your vessel for a cruise of the fiord surrounded by towering mountains and cliffs.
- After a big day out, return to downtown Queenstown.
- Lunch is included.
- Overnight in Queenstown.
Day 6: Queenstown – Mt Cook – Christchurch
- Departs Queenstown through the stunning Kawarau Gorge and fruit and wine growing region of Cromwell.
- Travel the vast plains of the Mackenzie district, alongside turquoise blue lakes, framed by Aoraki Mt Cook where you have some free time.
- Make a stop at Church of the Good Shepherd before continuing to Christchurch.
- Overnight in Christchurch.
Day 7: Depart Christchurch
- Transfer to Christchurch airport.
- Departure.
