Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by a local representative and transferred to your hotel in Negombo for a restful overnight stay. The following morning, begin your journey to Kandy with a visit to the Millennium Elephant Park, where you can walk with, feed, and bathe these gentle giants. Continue to Mawanella, where a stop at a herbal garden offers a chance for a rejuvenating massage. Day 1: Arrival Colombo โ Negombo (37.5kms โ 44 mins)
- Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, meet our local representative.
- Transfer to the Negombo Hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Negombo โ Pinnawela (77.8kms โ 2hrs) โ Kandy (40kms โ 1hr 12mins) (Breakfast/Dinner)
- After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Kandy.
- En route, visit the Millennium Elephant Park, a sanctuary dedicated to improving the care and treatment of Sri Lankan elephants.
- At the park, guests can walk with elephants, feed them, bathe them, and even enjoy an elephant shower.
- Continue the journey to Mawanella for a visit to a herbal garden.

- Visit notable attractions such as the old, red-brick post office and Queen Victoria Park, and relax by the shores of Lake Gregory.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya โ Bentota via Kitulgala (208kms โ 3hrs 16mins) Breakfast/Dinner)

- Note that snorkeling or swimming with the whales requires special permission, which may not always be guaranteed.
- After whale watching, return to the hotel, stopping en route to visit the turtle conservation farm at Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery.
- Learn about endangered sea turtle species, conservation efforts, and get the opportunity to see, touch, and feed baby turtles or injured adults cared for by the hatchery.
- In the evening at 3:00 pm, enjoy a boat ride on the Bentota River, exploring mangrove forests and observing wildlife such as crocodiles, water snakes, and various bird species.
